Manor Oak Nursery

FAQs

Q. Does my child need to wear school uniform?

Many parents do purchase the uniform for their children. This encourages children to form a routine, and get ready for going to big school.

Please be mindful, there is lots of messy play and messy activities in Nursery. We do try and return the children to parents as clean as possible and provide aprons to children, but we do not discourage messy play!

Q. Where can parents purchase uniform?

Graduates Schoolwear in Orpington High Street

Q. How much do Nursery sessions costs?

Children in the Bromley Borough aged 3-4 years old are entitled to 15 hours of free funded childcare.

On admission, you will be allocated either a morning or an afternoon place.

Any session must be booked and paid for in advance, to give us ample opportunity to provide enough staff and resources.

Here are any additional costs for childcare;

  • If you wish to use your 15 hours as a block and therefore your child attends Nursery as a 2 and a half day block, lunch cover costs will be incurred.

Additional sessions;  £15.00 each

Q. Is lunch provided?

If your child is staying all day, some children bring their own packed lunch, or you can order a school dinner. These are £2.20 a day.
